Business Research Method Research Proposal
Question: How can individualized medical fitness programs improve the well-being of baby boomers? Answer: Introduction: This research proposal is based on the key findings and effects of the individual care centers and fitness program for the baby boomers. Baby boomers: Baby boomers are referred to the peoples who were born during and after the World War 2. This includes the peoples born between the years 1946 and 1964, these peoples mostly born in the baby boom period. The term baby boom was used by many historians and they have also stated that this was a part of a desire for the increase in the population of the country after these long wars. Some historian also argued that this was the tactics to fight the communism by increasing the population of the country and through if they could have outnumber the communists Methodology: Most of these peoples are now in their 70s in 2016. Many baby boomer care centers and programs were initiated by the government for the proper treatment of the peoples. As most of the peoples of the baby boom generations are in their old age and reach retirement age, they are becoming a challenge and opportunity for the healthcare division. This is a challenge to take care of the 5.5 million baby boomers and provide the funds for the treatments and programs. (Barr, 2014) The methodology will consist different parts which will be required for the implementation of the plan and strategies. This includes getting the data of the baby boomers as per the population and the location where they stay. Creating a database as per the location will help in marinating and providing the number of the health care centers in each location. The above research is used to find the impacts of the individual healthcare over the baby boomers and how it could be implemented so that health and fitness can be categorized individually. Providing the individualized healthcare and fitness care is a challenge to implement as this is solely based upon the finding the health condition of each and every baby boomers and their health condition. The health care centers which are located in different part of the country could easily collect the data which can be used for the making of the database and individual care. Providing Individual care for the baby boomers required a workforce which can easily get available with the association with the organizations who are already working in these special fields. After selecting the location the second most important aspect of the healthcare is the treatment funding and expensed which are related to the baby boomer health program. As we know that government is spending a large amount of the money in setting up the healthcare centers and many baby boomers are moving towards the Medicare plans after the retirements. The current long-term care system is mainly made of the private service providers some are working fro the profit and some4 of them are working for the non-profit. Many Non-Governmental Organizations are also involved with it. Population sample As per the census report by the year 2029, the baby boomers the last stage will reach the retirement level. Americans 65 or older population will reach 71 million which will get up from 41 million in the year 2011. A vast number of baby boomers will toggle from for profit plans to Medicare which is Government sponsored, and that could incline the balance either way in the accomplishment or breakdown of new healthcare and compensation models is tested by the Medicare program, such as patient-centered medical homes and capitated, quality-linked compensation. Individualized fitness and health program consists of the selection and determining the course of action which is the need for the particular person. This is an effective and efficient method of the health care which is focused on the health and the fitness of the baby boomers. Peoples between the age group 75 to 85 starts to become more weak and get affected by many physical problem and then they require healthcare need, making li fe spam risk much superior. As per the research 42 percent of the peoples who are in their 70s will spend maximum time in the hospital and will die.(Murtaugh et al. 1997). Variables Providing a health-based service can to the elder person is a challenge for each country. After the selection of the location where most of the baby boomer population resides and interacting with the private and NGOs the healthcare programs can be initiated effectively or we can easily find the positive impacts of the individualized fitness program. The variables of the research are the number of baby boomers residing in some specific places. Such as, the number of baby boomers in the Australia is 5.5 million (ABS, 2014). We take this a variable number and this can vary in location wise. Population Individual care program and centers No of peoples who are taking Individual care Kind of individual care and expenses Research Design: Research is mainly and solely based upon the statics provided by the Government census of baby boomer population in the year 2014. As per the Australian Bureau of Statics, coastal cities have more baby boomer then the other part of the countries. Determining the health care centers and services they are using and they are intended to choose after the retirement gives a concrete structure of the research objective. The individualized care makes sure that each and every old persons health care and fitness. Data Collection: Data collection to know the population of the baby boomers is done from the census report of the ABS, 2014. As per the 2014, the population of the baby boomers is about 5.5 millions. As this population is distributed among in different coastal cities so the we can estimate the number of baby boomers in city wise population register. AS we have to know the benefits of the individual care and how many of them are taking this program we have consulted different Medicare Centers and Private health centers.
